We've been blessed to be able to relocate to Door County-a very small rental that allows our fur babies! We're amazed of how many kind people we've met up here that were regular customers at the Goose! We love to hear their kind stories & memories of the Wooden Goose Cafe! Bob & Andrew miss you all so much! Again a big thank you to all of the "Goose Family", including our dedicated staff. Stay well & God Bless!

To our loyal and thoughtful customer family--we want to thank you so much for your continued posted kind words & the cards sent to us about your sweet memories about your many, many Wooden Goose "traditional" visits with your friends & families. They make us smile (& tear up!). Thank you with all of our hearts. A 30 year run in the mom & pop restaurant business is pretty darn good-we feel very proud & blessed. We are sorry to announce that as of July 31st, the Wooden Goose Cafe, after 30 yrs of business has closed it's doors forever. Another sad victim of COVID-19. We sure didn't go down without a good fight! Our entire family thanks all of our faithful & loyal staff over the years & all of our wonderful customers for their kindness & patronage. We pray that you all stay healthy & safe. God Bless & thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Bob, Claire, Andrew, Matthew (& Timmy too!)

Items including: tables/chairs, decorative items, dinnerware, Wooden Goose coffee mugs, cookware/utensils, 3 upright freezers, 1 NEW commercial upright freezer, 1 refrig/freezer, 1 big prep cooler, 1 6-burner gas stove/oven, 2 deep fryers, 1 meat grinder, shelving units, cleaning supplies, canned goods/condiments. ***EVERYTHING MUST GO*** Thank you!

With heavy hearts & after 30 years of business, we have made the very difficult decision for our Wooden Goose Cafe to close. Due to COVID-19 & with a truly valiant effort, we were just unable to bounce back. Unfortunately any outdoor dining was not an option at our restaurant location. We also want our faithful and awesome staff to remain well. We thank our wonderful & loyal customers of so many years for your kind patronage and support. We'll sure miss your smiles & watching your families continue to grow. After 42 years in the restaurant business, it's time to retire and move on to the next chapter of our life's journey, whatever that may hold. If anyone out there that would possibly be interested, we do have The Wooden Goose Cafe for sale (BIZBUYSELL.com). We know it may sound crazy to try to sell a restaurant during a Pandemic, but the Goose still has wonderful potential. Our Goose was an absolute labor of love!
