🥔🧀 Ultimate Cheesy Tater Tot Casserole
If you're looking for the kind of meal that disappears before you can even sit down for seconds, this is it. Crispy golden tater tots, seasoned beef, creamy sauce, veggies, and plenty of melted cheddar cheese come together in one easy, family-approved casserole. ❤️
Ingredients:�• 1 lb ground beef�• 1 medium onion, finely chopped�• 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)�• 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup�• ½ cup milk�• 1 tsp garlic powder�• 1 tsp salt�• ½ tsp black pepper�• 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots�• 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess grease.
3. Stir in the mixed vegetables, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
4. Spread the beef mixture evenly into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
5. Sprinkle 1 cup of the cheddar cheese over the mixture.
6. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer across the top.
7. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the tater tots are crispy and golden brown.
8. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with the remaining cheddar cheese, and bake for another 5–10 minutes until melted and bubbly.
9. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
