We're still smiling after last week's amazing Kindness Week. Thank you to everyone who nominated someone and helped us celebrate the incredible people who make our community so special. We will do it again!

This week, we're busy making a few updates around The Perk - refreshing the menu, getting ready for back-to-school, accepting school supply donations, and improving our phone lines and internet to better serve you.

EpiCenter is gearing up for Back-to-School season! 📚✏️📓

As part of our commitment to supporting local students, we have once again pledged to provide school supplies for every student in need. With that mission in mind, we ask you to consider sponsoring this year’s efforts to help us place these vital supplies directly into the hands of students and families in our community.

✨ We're OPEN before, during, and after the parade!

Start your morning with coffee and breakfast, cool off with your favorite iced drink or energy refresher during the festivities, and swing by afterward for lunch, coffee, and sweet treats.

Meridian’s 250th Celebration Parade 🇺🇸

Join us as we celebrate 250 years of America with a patriotic parade through downtown Meridian!

📅 Saturday, July 11, 2026
🕤 Lineup: 9:30 AM
🇺🇸 Parade Begins: 10:00 AM

📍 Lineup Location: K Street near the nursing home. Volunteers will be there to help direct everyone to their spots.

We welcome businesses, emergency vehicles, tractors, horses (please provide cleanup), classic cars, Jeeps, motorcycles, ATVs, bands, beauty queens, churches, clubs, youth sports teams, decorated floats, and anyone else ready to show their American pride!

🇺🇸 Please decorate your entry in red, white, and blue!

Registering ahead of time makes lineups easier, BUT we will not turn away any participants. Please just show up at 9:30, and we’ll get you to your spot!

Parade Reminders:
• Arrive on time for lineup.
• Follow directions from volunteers and law enforcement.
• Keep a safe distance between entries.
• Please avoid throwing items that could create a safety hazard—handing them to spectators is encouraged.

📣 Due to limited staffing, we'll need to close early today at midday. This certainly wasn't the plan, and it's not a decision we take lightly, but it's the only way we can make sure our team gets the support they need while continuing to serve you well.
