Around this time four years ago, I made the decision to buy the Seedling Cafe as a bucket list item - a breakfast & lunch place where I could do what I enjoy the most, feed people. And now, four years later, after painful deliberation and heartache, I've decided to close permanently.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of meeting many wonderful people - both customers and staff. I've sincerely appreciated your loyalty through the years. I've put my heart and soul into this business and loved every minute of it. I so appreciate the support of my husband and family - they have been my champions!

This pandemic is pushing many small businesses to the brink. I truly expected to reopen and had been planning to do just that, but sadly it will not happen. Over the next few months, even years, small family companies are the most vulnerable. Hundreds have already closed permanently. If you are able, support local small businesses whenever possible.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support, concern, kind words and patronage. Although I grieve the end of this dream of mine, I look forward to what the future will bring.

As the restrictions have been eased allowing restaurants to open, with restrictions, on Monday, we will remain closed as we watch to see what unfolds over the next few weeks. It is such a scary time right now for everyone and we want to be sure that we are in a position to keep ourselves and our customers safe. Because of our location, we will also need to abide by hotel restrictions, which as of now, have not changed.
We hope you are all well and safe and when possible, please help small businesses by visiting when you can!

Hello everyone! Just wanted to update on our current status. As many others, we remain closed due to Covid19. I know many of you are checking here and on our website for our status! We continue to monitor the situation of state and federal guidelines.

Hello everyone! Just wanted to provide an update to our current situation . . . CT on Monday revealed an absyss (SP?) that has been the reason for my continued pain and discomfort. On antibiotics for the next 14 days which I hope takes care of the pain/discomfort. I hope all of you stay safe and well! We miss you all!

Hello everyone! It has been a very rough three weeks and nothing much to update on other than I continue to work on recuperating. . . tomorrow a CT should tell where this continued pain and discomfort is coming from and hopefully provide some relief, The past week has been challenging for all local businesses, especially restaurants, where many have closed until they are able to welcome diners back through their doors. I have been overly optimistic in hoping each week that we can reopen based on my feeling better, but looks like we will remain closed until further notice based on the state's mandate of closing dining rooms as well as hearing my peers and their challenges of take out and delivery.

Being the hands on owner that I am resulting in a small staff I am sorry to say we will be CLOSED this week! I was admitted to the hospital early this morning with acute diverticulitis. I will most likely be here for the week! I hope to be open regular hours next week! I'm sorry to anyone that planned to visit us this week and hope to see you next week!
