Before we celebrate 5 years… I wanted to take you back to where it all began. ❤️
Most people see the finished product. Very few know what it took to get here.
In March 2020, we signed the lease to Get Right Nutrition… on the very same day the world shut down.
Two months later, we got the keys and got to work, believing we’d be open in just a few weeks.
Then came our final inspection… or so we thought.
Instead, we found out the space had been divided into three units without the proper permits. Overnight, everything changed. We had to start over.
New electrical. New plumbing. New A/C. New permits. A brand-new wall. We even had to break up a perfectly good floor and completely rebuild our bathroom.
For an entire year, we paid rent on a business that wasn’t even open yet, while also paying contractors, buying materials, and doing as much of the work ourselves as possible.
Somewhere in the middle of all that… I found out I was pregnant with Lexi. 🤍
There were so many moments we questioned if we should keep going. We were exhausted, overwhelmed, and honestly… we wanted to quit more than once.
But every time we reached a dead end, God made a way.
On June 28, 2021, after a year of obstacles, prayers, tears, and hard work, we finally opened our doors.
Since then, we’ve had the privilege of serving this community, watching families grow alongside ours, and turning Get Right Nutrition into a second home for so many people.
That’s why we celebrate so big every single year.
Because staying open for another year isn’t something we’ll ever take for granted. It’s a blessing.
Thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and allowing us to do what we love every single day.
