Not all heroes wear capes, nor do they crave the spotlight, they just get the job done, keep everything flowing smoothly and make sure that spotlight is bright from behind the scene for others.
After 8 incredible years, our absolute powerhouse Malia is moving on. She’s been crucial to Barracuda’s growth and pretty much saved my sanity, not to mention my back, over the years.
For nearly a decade, she’s been the brawn behind all things beer at Cuda. Malia literally handled the heavy lifting of receiving and loading the keg room, dialed in our inventory, handcrafted tap handles when we didn’t have one, updated menus and programmed POS buttons to keep everything flowing seamlessly.
The craziest part? She did all of this while being a superhero mother of four, personal trainer to many and an absolute fitness beast (the rumors are true, she actually wins burpee competitions for fun). She’s a craft beer fanatic through and through, a self-proclaimed “IPA whore” who loves the scene so much she held her wedding at The Tank Brewery and has represented Cuda at GABF.
Malia, thank you for 8 years of dedication, laughs, keeping the taps flowing and most of all being my friend and confidante. You are irreplaceable and the Cuda family is going to miss you as part of the crew although we know we’ll be seeing you on the other side of the bar. 😜
