This jelly sums up my jamathon until after next weekend. Then I need to gear up for Wakefield, Cohasset, and Mattapoisett events. I will be making more Raspberry Rhubarb, Strawberry Rhubarb, and all my fig jams. Also whatever else I'm low on🤣❤️.

What an amazing day!!! I inspected my hives and the Bee Happy hive is building comb like crazy!! I saw my beautiful queen, she is laying like gangbusters!! My Bee Loved hive is deciding that they want to split and spread some love🤣. I opened the hive and found 3 swarm cells (queen cells that are on the outer edge of the frames). I saw my queen and she was actively laying eggs while I was watching her😍🤗. 2 of the cells were full but not capped and the 3rd one was capped. So I had to make a quick decision!! Well now I have 4 hives. I carefully took the queen cell off of the frame and placed it in a nuc box with 2 frames of capped brood and food and one frame that was being drawn out and filled with honey, and another frame with honey!! Now by doing this the hive thinks they swarmed and I don't lose half my bees and I have an additional hive. I'm naming it Bee Patient Hive since now I have to wait for my new queen to hatch. While I was brushing Waldo Pedro was inspecting my work!!

This is the best view in the world, my babies eating, happy, and feeling good!! Update on Raj. The urine sample showed no crystals at all, but it remains a mystery of what happened and hopefully a one time event. My vet thinks maybe he was clogged with debris. Let's hope it never happens again. Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone!! Today I'm making Rhuberry!!!
