Today would have been Scruffy’s 37th anniversary. We opened on Parade Day, December 3,1988. We did 36 seasons and 36 parade days! Tons of memories and tons of fun. This year will be so different… Please swing by to support For the Cats' Sake who will be set up out front in hopes of raising much needed funds for their cat rescue efforts. A great big thank you to Piedmont Drip & Dip and Olde Millstones Thrift Shop for continuing to raise funds for animal welfare through their donation jars. Together we recently raised and donated $295 towards emergency veterinary care for a group of very sick but very sweet kitties that were recently rescued by a good samaritan… Together we are making a difference in so many lives! 👍❤️🐾

Scruffys sign is now down. It is being loaned/donated to the Middleburg Museum. We missed the “Beloved past Small Businesses Sign” exhibit for this year ( The Coach Stop and The Fun Shop signs were on display,what fun memories huh!) so now the Scruffys sign will be used for the towns ice cream social in the pavilion and then it will be hung when the museum has a more permanent place… ✌️❤️🍦
