We will not be open tomorrow the 29th…. Why? As most of you already know, we are a small family run business and are new this year. Each of our menu options are made from scratch in our kitchen from our caramel sauce to our gelato. Our preparation to produce our menu take us two full days. In preparation for a busy weekend we produced as much product as our fridges and freezers could hold but ultimately did not know what to expect. As of this evening we are fully sold out of everything, including our gelato. After long consideration of the best plan to proceed as we hate letting our customers down we have to be realistic about our time and the amount of hours one can work. Thank you for a wonderful and busy week! Your support truly means the world. 🖤

Closed this weekend. 😞 Unfortunately while closing after a wonderful day I took an unexpected tumble down our flight of stairs. Due to injuries and need for recovery time we will need to be closed Saturday and Sunday. We do apologize.

When it rains, it pours…. Our brand new gelato machine is not working properly and we are currently unable to have it repaired prior to opening on Saturday. Our gelato contributes to atleast 60% of our menu. Would people prefer to have a soft opening without gelato or post pone the opening until we are fully up and running? 🖤

We're happy to help local businesses like Chim Chimney Bakery. This new Middlebury business serves authentic sweet and savory chimney cones with handcrafted gelato. The family owned and operated pursuit brought the study of making 1700's era sweet dough cones all the way from Slovenia to Vermont. NorthCountry was able to help Chim Chimney Bakery with a business loan to purchase large scale equipment to help with their growth and operations.

We are okay! Our windows needed some TLC and we wanted to keep all the lovely sidewalk users safe. We appreciate all who have reached out and checked in. We can’t wait to welcome you all to our new space soon.

Construction update: new windows are installed, the tray ceiling is underway and the finishing touches prior to paint have been made on the original tin ceiling.
