Well… our AC has quite the story. 😅
When we moved in back in 2023, the system was barely hanging on. We spent months trying to repair it, calling just about everyone we could. After one unfortunate experience with a contractor who took our money and disappeared (along with doing the same to several other local businesses), we finally found someone who could replace the entire unit.
Last summer we bit the bullet, invested in a brand-new system, and it was glorious. ❄️
Fast forward to three weeks ago… and, of course, the AC stopped working again. This time it’s a faulty sensor, and the replacement part is on backorder.
The good news is we’re expecting to have everything up and running by Thursday for dinner service—or Friday at the very latest.
We know the timing couldn’t be worse with the heat wave rolling in, but we’re committed to staying open and serving you. We’re doing everything we can to keep the restaurant as cool and comfortable as possible. If it feels a little warmer than usual, we truly appreciate your patience for just a couple more days.
And if you’d rather stay cool at home or by the water, don’t forget—we offer online ordering! Grab your favorites to go and enjoy them wherever you’re most comfortable. ☀️🌊
