โจICYMI our menu got a spring refresh last week, including a NEW Community Burger - a burger from the community, for the community. ๐

We start this burger with a blend of Highland Spring Farm grass-fed beef and Fox Heritage Farms lamb, mixed with our own Moroccan spice blend. Then we top it with creamy goat cheese, pickled red onion, fresh arugula, confit cherry tomatoes and harissa aioli on a Madison Sourdough ciabatta roll. The perfect pairing of warm, aromatic flavors with subtle sweetness and mild heat.

If you follow our Community Burgers, you know that $1 from every burger sold is donated to a local cause. To date, we have donated over $38,000 through your support of our burgers. ๐ซถ
This time we have chosen the ๐๐ช๐ง๐ฅ๐ค๐จ๐ ๐๐ง๐ค๐ฌ๐ฃ ๐๐ง๐ค๐๐๐๐ฉ, a food access program created by our friends at Crossroads Community Farm,. We have worked with Cassie and Michael at Crossroads well over 15 years, starting at Brasserie V and now here at Longtable. We have always admired their commitment to sustainable farming, growing food that nourishes bodies and soils. When we learned about the Purpose Grown Project, we knew we wanted to get involved.
Crossroads raises funds to purposefully grow and supply vegetables for people in greatest need in the community. Their belief (which we share) is that everyone deserves access to fresh, healthy, dignified food. To be low-income shouldnโt equate to eating low quality food. The donation that we will make will be used to grow and provide fresh vegetables specifically for WayForward Resources, another longtime partner dedicated to creating food and housing security. This circle of eat, donate, grow, eat brings a whole new meaning to burgers from the community, for the community, and we couldnโt be more excited to help in this mission.
Cheers to community! We couldn't do this without you.๐ป
