Rescues share a special place in our hearts here at ASCR. We are built on the foundation of helping rescues find their forever homes.
Our first rescue is Mystic (slides 3 and 4). She was a southern dog, got bullied by the others in her litter. We originally weren’t supposed to get her, she was destined for another family. They ended up backing out and coming home with us. She’s been an anchor in the house and helped raise the cats and motivate Sage in her journey to walk again. Every success story began with Mystic.
Sage - She was the rescue that changed our lives (slides 1 and 2)! If you’re a follower, you know Sage’s story already. If you’re not a follower, I’ve talked about her story a ton in other posts. Sage has touched many hearts in her life and this whole idea is built around her and continuing to talk about how important it is to help dogs like her.
If you’re a family looking to add a furry friend to your home, look to your local shelters and help a dog in need. There’s no love quite like a rescue dogs love.
