✨ A Final Cup, A Full Heart ✨
Friends… today feels tender and holy.
Live Oak Eastside opened their doors for soft opening in our old space, and walking by that familiar corner of Midland feels like looking at a memory wrapped in God’s grace. It’s beautiful. Truly beautiful. And it reminded us again of something the Lord has been whispering to our hearts for months:
It is okay to close a chapter when God says, “It’s time.”
Sometimes His promptings lead us forward with a shout, and sometimes with a gentle nudge. Sometimes with certainty…and sometimes with trembling courage. But every time, His heart for us is good. Closing Grove’s chapter wasn’t easy—this place carried our prayers, our dreams, our tears, and our deep love for this community. But obeying God, even when it meant letting go, has brought us into a season overflowing with His faithfulness.
And today, seeing Live Oak in that space, we felt peace.
A peace that says, “See? I make all things new.”
A peace that says, “You were faithful in your time here. Now watch what I’ll do next.”
To the Midland community—our customers who became friends, our regulars who became family, the students, the moms, the pastors, the creatives, the nurses, the early-morning quiet seekers, the laughter-filled groups sharing tea and grace—you blessed us more than you know. Thank you for letting us serve you. Thank you for letting us steep your tea, craft your lattes, bake your scones, and be part of your rhythms and your stories.
We are honored that God allowed us to be a small part of your lives.
Through every busy morning, every heart-to-heart conversation over the counter, every community event, every answered prayer whispered behind the espresso machine—God was faithful. He sustained us, guided us, provided for us, and held us close. We saw His goodness in you. We saw His love in this city.
And now… a new chapter begins for this space we loved so much.
