Is it really worth it? Maybe it's just time to say f*ck it and join the crowd? 🤷‍♂️

In this "K" shaped economy, it seems you're either steppin' on backs, reducing quality and quantity while watchin' your corporate stock prices soar, or you're standing in the aisle at your local grocery store puttin' the ground beef back in the cooler and headin' to the insta ramen aisle for the 2nd time this week. Ugh.

What to do?

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

Work SMARTER, not HARDER. Isn't that what THEY say?

So, rather than spending most of my waking middle-aged time crafting product I strongly feel is somehow bringing a much needed HUMAN component to our less-than-ideal timeline we're currently on, I've decided to stop wasting my time.

In order to scale up and produce exponentially more profit for myself and mine, whilst freeing up valuable personal time and actually have a life outside of here, I've decided to offer you a brand new model with exciting and familiar products.

I've spent countless hours calibrating the machines, sourcing the absolute cheapest ingredients and working with renowned scientists to create a product that resembles bread, kinda tastes like bread and will basically "just do the job".

I hope you're as excited for this new step in the GENERIC direction as I am.

Say goodbye to the bread in the first photo, I'm over wasting my time once and for all. It's time to join 'em, not beat 'em.

We'll be closed Sat 7/18...

I'm basically forcing Chef to stay out of the hot-azz shoebox of a kitchen tonight. Two nights in a row busting it for hours in 125+ degrees back there is a terrible idea. Not safe.

One cannot consume enough water and electrolytes for that... Fact.

When it's 100 heat index outside and walking from the kitchen to outside feels like you're walking into an air conditioned room, that's a no-go.

So, I started a mutiny. Of one 😉.

I'd kinda like him to be around for a little longer.
Kinda... 😁

We compromised and will be spending the night cleaning the cooler among other restauranty stuff that needs attention.

Great, now I'M gonna be freezing in the walk-in all night. Talk about your all time backfires! 🙄

I truly never thought this would become a thing back when I did it just to get by when Dallas was recovering from surgery and it was just me.

Honestly, I thought "there's no way anyone will do this, therefore I might get a slow and manageable evening in March". 🤣

And yet, here we are.

It's become a THING.

Thank you for that.

The fact you trust the cooking, much like good ol' grandma, ma' or anyone else that just put their heart in it, means the world to me. Truly.

You know me, just tryin' to keep things constantly mixed up in a mixed up world. Is there any other way? 🤷‍♂️

Again, thanks to ALL that came out this evening. It was hundreds of items, three different waves, lotsa hours, but knowing it's making' ya' smile, refuels the tank.

Updated schedule for this week:

After traveling around the country visiting family and friends for the past month and a half with her momma, my baby rabbit is finally home.

She'll be hangin' out with me while I prep for the next couple days, keepin' dad company and practicing trombone. Seriously. She brought it with. My parents told me this day would come. IYKYK. 🤣

So here's our plan....................

Monday:
prepping for a Tuesday "Blind Bag". Moving it to Tuesday because we both require some much needed daddy daughter time tonight.

Tuesday:
3 rounds of "Blind Bag" I'll open the ordering banks up on Messenger in the morning. IYKYK. No regular service, just the pre-order blind bag event.

Wednesday:
closed (prep day)

Thursday:
4-9

Friday:
4-9

Saturday:
4-9

Watch for the post tomorrow morning.

Last time it sold out in 6 minutes. No kidding. Ugh.

Details will be outlined in the post in the a.m. Please do not reply with a request for a reserved pickup time with just "Yes, please." 🤣

SOLD OUT!

Question.

Is there some sorta site or forum I am unaware of that exclusively promotes the brand new items I feature each day/week? 🤣

The reason I ask is because it's become quite clear those items are the only ones people are ordering. And they're ordering A LOT OF THEM.

As a result, it wipes out half of my menu on the daily, while the staples remain sitting on the shelf so to speak. Kinda wasting hours of prep time and product for no reason. And making it nearly impossible to open for the next days service. There's no "product mix", like a normal operation, which is making the prep impossible to keep up with.

Been making it extremely difficult to anticipate and operate on a regular basis like this.

As you know, I make everything from scratch, so this stuff all takes hours and hours to produce. Many of those hours being wasted on product that no one wants cuz you've already had it apparently. It's just the NEW stuff that is selling.

Soooooo..................

With that said, gonna be switching some things up next week based on what I'm seeing in this peculiar demand. *scratches head.

I can't open tonight with only 3 items that apparently for whatever reason no one wanted, and can't recover the prep for the other ones that clearly EVERYONE wanted and cleaned us out of last night.

We'll start next week off on Monday with a "BLIND BAG" event.

I'll be changing a few things around and laser focusing on items you do seem to want and producing MORE of them, which will prevent me from wasting countless hours prepping some you don't.

Maybe this will work. We shall see.

Sold out of drunken noodz, chopped cheese sando, lobster rolls, carbonara and Brazilian chimi chicken last night. Thanks to all that came out.

Will be baking bread and prepping all day to replenish.
