Just a quick note to all our friends and fans - Ralph is the Chef at The Inn of the Hawke in Lambertville and is doing Octoberfest for the next two weeks. It is a lovely casual restaurant, in case you've never been there. He's making all your favorites, including saurbraten, spaetzle, bratwurst, red cabbage, etc, and he's love to see you! They do take reservations - 609-397-9555.

It will be so cool to see you guys and I'll show you all the neat anachronistic things around the place. You will not believe the kitchen, compared to Tooze. And Fred, you don't need a jacket, just no sneakers or jeans. Although I would love to see you in a jacket.

In answer to all of your wonderful comments, they are letting us "invite" anyone we want, of course in hopes of you becoming members, but no one will talk to you about it or anything...I don't really wait on tables, unless I want to, so I told everyone that I will be taking all "chef's tables"....

S0, it's been two months! Can't even believe it. We think of you all often and miss you terribly. You should come for lunch and have your favorite panini, or dinner...

Just a quick note to everyone - Ralph and I are getting used to our new surroundings. We are at The Pomfret Club in Easton. It is a lovely old place, lots of character. The kitchen is fabulous, lots of refrigeration space - we are cooking and baking just to fill it up. We had a guest yesterday who had been to Tooze several times, small world. We miss you all.
