The first time I had a Ruben sandwich was at Kitchens as a teenager and it came just like this - Pastrami, provolone, sauerkraut, thousand island on an onion bun. I was hooked after that! Ours normally comes on rye bread but you can ask your server to give it a try the way Jim and Bunny used to make it. See you at Kitchens, open till 2!

Whatever you’re doing today, fathers are worth celebrating — whether they’re still with us or not. Happy Father’s Day to my dad, Curtis. He left his mark on everything I do, and he certainly left his mark on Kitchens.

So today, we’re honoring him the best way we know how: with food. Come on in for brunch and Curtis’ Favorite Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs — made with love, made for you, made for celebrating the special men we call our fathers.

To all the dads out there, today and always: thank you. 🍳
