Café Racer turns 14 today! 🎉
It has been an incredible journey of creating delicious meals, serving our community, and being a space for folks to gather. We’ve been able to grow and continue our service thanks to this incredible everyone we’ve served in Minneapolis and beyond. We started as a small catering company that evolved into a Food Truck, our kitchen-on-wheels that allowed us to serve at so many awesome events. We then opened our Brick and Mortar Restaurant in the wonderful Seward neighborhood, and began hosting our monthly Break Bread Free Lunch, which we continue hosting every last Monday of the month. A few years ago, we expanded to a second commercial kitchen location where we prepare meals for our School Nutrition Program. Since then, in addition to running the Café and our Catering Program, we also prepare nutritious daily breakfast and lunch for our school partners across the Twin Cities. We do all of this with deep care and appreciation for our community.
We are so grateful to be able to serve and be part of such incredible community. If you’ve ever enjoyed a meal with us, joined us for Break Bread, or had a connection to our School Nutrition Program, you are part of our story and part of the reason we do what we do.
