The Chili con Spargel is off the fire, the Spargulash is on the fire. The cheesecakes are out of the oven, the Spargel Strudel is in the oven. The slaw is made. The hot sauce hasn't run out yet. We are all very grateful for the day off yesterday and we're ready to Fest some more today!

We are closed all day today for Memorial Day! Even Erich is at home not working today! This is where he'll be tomorrow, along with the rest of us, getting back to Spargelfest and business as usual. See you tomorrow!

We are Spargelfesting like crazy at the Black Forest! We sold out of the dessert (temporarily!) and we're serving asparagus cocktails like crazy.

Happy Birthday to us! It's our 61st anniversary today. We first opened our doors on May 15, 1965 and it's been a wild ride since the very beginning. Thank you for being on that ride with us. We're grateful for each day we get to serve you.

We won't bore you with how much work goes into getting the fountain ready every spring but we will tell you that the beer garden is open anyway and that we will be open at NOON on Sunday for Mother's Day.
