First of all I want to thank God for giving me this opportunity to step into the ring and do what I love. I also want to thank all my fans who watched me live and those that tuned in, y’all are amazing and the love y’all show me makes me do what I love even more. I also want to thank my sponsors and my family for always having my back. Hearing y’all yell out my name and yell out “Mexico” gave me the motivation to keep dominating and kept me pumped. I did this for y’all and I went out there and fought my heart out, like I always do. I am at peace because I know I won that fight but sometimes God has his own plan for you and I really believe everything happens for a reason. Another very sad loss to music and the world.
You weren’t asking for much. You taught us all to go downtown and look for some t**h. You were bad you were nationwide. You were a beer drinker and a hell raiser. You taught us all the Velcro fly. We learned about the evils of TV dinners. But most of all you were a great singer and bassist and our world was a better place when you were in it. So long Dusty, the world and me will miss you.

Rest in peace to the legendary ZZ Top bassist and Texan, Dusty Hill. We always loved to watch him on our stage. ZZ Top’s six performances at RODEOHOUSTON were a fan favorite. With ZZ Top’s connection to Houston, they understood the significance of the Rodeo and always performed with a high level of creative energy. ❤️
