Yesterdays estate sale find, a melted phone with a story. I should add that’s it’s nothing exciting!!!
Apparently the phone came out of a burnt out Loblaws. The man who “rescued” this phone brought it home much to his family’s dismay. They tried to get him to get rid of it for years but were unsuccessful. The man passed away over a year ago and the family held an estate sale. They thought about tossing the phone out but decided to put it out to see if anyone wanted it. Well, they were right. I was so excited to find it as it looks like a piece of art. The man’s wife (94yrs old) said that George would be so thrilled to know that someone will be appreciating his phone as much as he did. We are now calling this piece “George’s Hotline”.
