🎓 We're Celebrating a Special Milestone! 🎓

Capy's Italian Restaurant will be CLOSED Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6 as we celebrate our daughter Julie's high school graduation! ❤️

Many of you may recognize Julie from the restaurant. She's a part of the Capy's family both at home and at work, and we couldn't be more proud of everything she has accomplished.

Thank you all so much for understanding while we take the day to be together and celebrate this moment as a family.

❤️ We also want to sincerely thank everyone for the continued love, patience, prayers, and support these past several weeks. As Jack slowly begins making his way back into Capy’s after the recent health scare, we are still adjusting to a new kind of normal both at home and at the restaurant.

♥️ On March 31st, our family’s world turned upside down. One of Capy’s owners, Jack, was suddenly diagnosed with profound heart failure. For a terrifying moment, we didn’t know if he would survive. Nurses later told us that if we hadn’t acted as quickly as we did, he wouldn’t have made it. The thought of what could have happened is something we can barely put into words.

He’s now home and starting the road to recovery, but the journey ahead is long and expensive.

At the time, Jack was uninsured, and we’re still working through getting coverage. So far, medical bills have already exceeded $150,000. We’ve also had to temporarily adjust hours at Capy’s while focusing on his recovery.

This is more than a situation—it’s our family. Jack is a husband, father, son, brother, and a big part of the heart behind Capy’s. Every day with him is a blessing.

We are so grateful for the love and support from this community. Whether you share this post, keep us in your thoughts, or support the restaurant—it truly means everything to us.
