Starting this week we will be reducing the comics schedule to 2 new strips per week. After almost 3 years, there will be no more dailies.

Foxen Comics will always be a part of our brand, but I just don't have the time anymore to post them every day. The business demands hard labor, so that's where I need to focus. We've been working 60-80+ hour weeks every week, all year long. Sometimes I get home after a 12 hour day to catch up on the comics and I'm not happy with them because it feels rushed or forced. I want the comics to be creative and exciting, so i think pulling back the frequency will help make it more manageable and fun again.

I will continue to put out content weekly, and will start implementing other types of content too.

I know we've developed a committed audience based on these comics, especially on Facebook, and I'm sorry I can't keep up. I've always had a vision of a whole department of creative folks making foxen comics, animations, and fun coffee content. That is still part of the plan - we just have a long ways to go until we get there. For now, the business demands my labor so that's what I need to do.
