Hey, y'all! It's been a while since our beloved food truck, Papa Milson's, closed its doors in May. I can't thank you enough for your incredible support and love during my food truck journey. 🚚

I've been feeling nostalgic and missing all of you amazing customers, which is why I'm considering a one-day pop-up event! 🎉 I want to bring back that mouthwatering Southern cuisine that you all loved and cherished. 😋

But here's the thing...I need to know if this is something y'all are interested in! 🤔 I want to make sure that I'm not just cooking up some scrumptious dishes for myself. I want to do it for YOU - our fantastic foodie community!

Alright, folks, let's take a moment to talk about the collards this weekend. I don't want to toot my own horn, but I tweaked them a little, and let me tell you, they turned out fire 🔥. So much fire, my smoke detector went off and the neighbors called the fire department.. just kidding.

But seriously, these collards were so good, they could turn a vegetarian into a meat-eater. I mean, they were practically dancing in my mouth like a group of synchronized swimmers. And let's be real, if collards were a superhero, they'd be the Incredible Hulk. They're green, they're mean, and they pack a serious punch of flavor.

So if you missed out on these collards, don't worry, I'll be cooking them again one last time on June 2nd and 3rd And if you did have them, well, I hope you're ready for round two, because I'm about to take them to the next level. Papa Milson's Soul Food, where collards are king 👑.

Just a friendly reminder that we will be open for dinner this evening and tomorrow evening starting at 4:45 PM. We anticipate being busy both nights and expect to sell out quickly as we've had many amazing customers reaching out to us because of our closing and wanting to come in for one last meal. Don't miss your chance to dine with us and say goodbye! After this weekend, we will be closed for the remainder of the month until our last two days which will be on June 2nd and June 3rd. We hope to see you all here before we close for good.

Good evening,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the permanent closure of Papa Milsons Soul Food. I have been offered a great job opportunity that I believe will truly be beneficial to my family. I want to take this opportunity to thank all of my customers for their love and support throughout this journey. It has been a pleasure serving you all.

Although I will be closing permanently, I do plan on hosting pop-ups in the future, so please keep an eye out for those. Additionally, my fryer will be fixed this Thursday, so I will be open for dinner service on Friday and Saturday only. However, I will be closed from May 22nd to June 1st, and my last two days of operation will be on June 2nd and June 3rd.

Once again, I want to thank you all for your patronage and support. I will always cherish the memories and experiences I've had at Papa Milsons Soul Food.

Attention Papa Milson's Soul Food customers! We want to thank everyone who came out tonight to enjoy our delicious soul food. We appreciate your support and look forward to serving you again soon.

However, towards the end of the night, we encountered some issues with our fryer. We're concerned about this and have decided to call in a specialized company in the morning to address this issue. Rest assured that we are doing everything in our power to provide you with the best possible experience at our food cart.

I hope this post finds you well. I wanted to inform you that Papa Milson's will be closed for lunch this Wednesday and Thursday. However, we will be open for dinner on these days, with our normal operating hours, as well as on Friday and Saturday.

Additionally, We will be open for lunch on Friday and Saturday. So, please come and join us for a delicious meal during these times.

We've got some delicious new additions to our menu this week. Hey Monmouth and all our neighboring communities! Papa Milson's is excited to announce our collaboration with Kissin Kate's BBQ this week! We've got some seriously delicious Soul food and BBQ dishes for you to sink your teeth into. Starting this Wednesday for dinner, we'll be serving up some amazing burnt ends, fried catfish, fried shrimp, Mac and cheese, collard greens, and more! And don't forget, on Saturday we'll have some mouthwatering brisket for you to enjoy.
