Today, Saturday, December 28th from now until it's empty, is the last time the Cookie Cooler will be open! (See Thursday's post for the closing details, if this is the first time you're learning the news.)

But, today you can mix and match any 3 cookies for $5 as long as supplies last:
*Old-fashioned Sugar
*Chocolate Chip Toffee
*Peanut Butter Cup
*Ginger Molasses
*Lemon Poppyseed

And, there is still one box of Peanut Butter Fudge and two boxes Chocolate fudge available for $5 each!

I have some sad news, sweets. First, because of Christmas, there's no Cookie Cooler today (but there WILL be tomorrow, Friday, December 27th from noon until 8 pm).

But, secondly, I've come to the decision that as much joy as this adventure brings me, it has to come to an end. This weekend will be the last Cookie Cooler and Sonflour Sweets will be closing. I cannot thank all of you enough for the support you've blessed me with the last couple of years! It has been a lifelong dream of mine to share with others my love of baking, and I'm so happy to have been able to accomplish it...But, my next adventure has to be focusing on getting healthy, and anyone who is addicted to sugar understands how nearly impossible it is to not give into the temptation to eat it if it's constantly accessible.

So, the Cookie Cooler tomorrow (and possibly Saturday) will be going back to the classics, the ones that started it all! You will be able to mix-and-match any 3 cookies for $5. The cookies available will be:

*Peanut Butter Cup
*Chocolate Chip Toffee
*Dark Chocolate Espresso
*Ginger Molasses

I will also have candy boxes available for $5 each: Chocolate Fudge, Peanut Butter Fudge, and Chocolate Covered Cherries!

As always, you can pay by dropping cash in the locked box or by scanning the QR code to pay with a debit card! Thank you soooo much, guys! I am going to miss this!!

These little chunky cookies, might just be my favorite ever Paint-Your-Own Cookie Sets! I was able to make 29 sets this time and they're available to order right now. Just let me know how many sets you want and when you'd like to pick them up at your own convenience from the Cookie Cooler either in the comments below, by messaging me here on Facebook, or by calling/texting me at 309-509-4418.

New here? Hi there! We're so happy to see you! Paint-Your-Own Cookie Sets are cut-out sugar cookies decorated with royal icing that can be "painted" on with food coloring in much the same way you would paint with watercolors. Each set is $5 and comes with 3 cookies, a paint brush, and an edible paint palette you activate with just a little bit of water. The cookies will stay fresh in their package for up to 2 weeks (and, honestly, I've eaten them more than a month later and was pleasantly surprised at how yummy they still were!) Please cover your work area and wear clothes you don't mind potentially dyeing if you're a messy painter! Ha!

I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that tomorrow, Thursday, December 5th from noon until 8 pm is the first Cookie Cooler of the month and it will be loaded with the December flavors! Woohoo!! The bad news is, for you peppermint lovers like me, this will be the only Cookie Cooler of the month with Peppermint Sugar Cookies. BUT you can still mix-and-match any 3 of the following cookies for $5, and they are just as yummy!

Peanut Butter Blossoms
