Everyone will bring a set number of goods, depending on how many people attend, and we will all trade and go home with a little mix of everything.

A little throwback to blueberry season and all the years my mom and I spent at the Independence Farmers Market.

For one month every summer, life revolved around early mornings, berry stained hands, and buckets of fresh picked blueberries headed to market. Long before cakes and cinnamon rolls, I was a blueberry lady 🫐.

I miss blueberry season, and even more, I miss the summers I spent with my mom and grandparents. So much of that time was spent picking, packing, and selling berries together, and those are some of my favorite memories 💙.

Banana cupcakes for my brother Sam’s birthday 🧁

If you know Sam, you know he can’t have most store bought desserts because of his severe peanut allergy. He’s one of the reasons I started baking in the first place.

It definitely hasn’t always gone perfectly, but he’s always been so supportive and excited to try whatever I make.

Love you, Sam. I hope I get to be your sister in every lifetime 🫶🏻.
