Why Reach Coffee?

When my brother and I started Reach Coffee we really had just two things in mind, and that was to serve amazing coffee, and serve people in need.

We bought a decommissioned stand in Kent, and unfortunately had to completely rebuild the structure. The stand was neglected and worn out, luckily that was also reflected in the price when we bought it... but it did mean we had to put months of work into it. We did everything by hand, and ended up with a beautifully rustic, yet modern Coffee stand.

We chose our coffee carefully. We wanted something that reflected the quintessential cup of coffee for the people who don’t really care what region the beans were grown in, (Brazil, Papua New Guinea, Central America), but we also wanted something that is indeed complex, and has everything you need to find different notes, and something that can be experimented with at home. We landed on the Brothers Blend, its a medium roast, and is honestly great however you like to make it. If you are a coffee lover, this is a perfect blend for you to try out different brew methods and find what seems like endless complexities.

What we really care about though is the people. Coffee is really an amazing beverage. It is so much more than just a pick me up. It is global yes, but it is also very communal. Coffee shops around the world are filled with people sitting down over a cup sharing community with each other, which is what coffee is supposed to be about. When you come to the stand, you will find that we are not interested in providing customer service, but are interested in you, and developing a relationship with you even in the short moments we have with you making your coffee.
