Krueger is an artist from Yellow Medicine County. She is a senior attending Montevideo Public Schools. She specializes in acrylic painting and finds inspiration from nature, poems, and portraits.

🌀🏺🤍 Meet our third Emerging Artist of the Meander Art Crawl—Katreina Gibson!

Gibson first learned to throw pottery from the late Kevin Flicker at the University of Minnesota Morris, where she slowly discovered that clay was her favorite medium for creating art. Through struggle, she consolidated her interests of drawing, painting, sculpting, and biology into the flexible, sturdy, everlasting, yet fragile medium of ceramics. The majority of her work is thrown on the pottery wheel and then altered—sometimes minimally, and other times sculpturally.

Stop in and visit her on October 3! We’re excited to welcome her and art lovers from near and far this weekend!
