Over the last few months, I have poured my heart, my faith, my time, and every ounce of determination into making a lifelong dream come true.

So many people have asked, “What does JM&L stand for?”

JM&L is Jadyn, Maliyah, and Lance — my heart in human form. ❤️

This business has never been just about serving ice cream. It’s about building something that will outlive me. It’s about creating a legacy my children can be proud of, showing them that dreams are worth chasing, hard work has purpose, and perseverance can overcome even the toughest obstacles.

As a mother I wanted to create a place where every family feels welcomed, every child feels seen, and every smile matters. JM&L is my way of giving back to the community while showing my children that love, resilience, and faith can build something truly special.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support, encouragement, prayers, shares, kind words, and belief so many of you have shown me throughout this journey.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for believing in me before the doors have even opened. Thank you for celebrating every milestone, no matter how small. Your support has carried me through moments of exhaustion and reminded me why I started this journey in the first place.

In 48 hours I will welcome you into JM&L Ice Cream Shop. I hope when you walk through the doors, you don’t just see an ice cream shop—you see a dream built with love, faith, and the unwavering belief that anything is possible.

In just 10 days, JM&L Ice Cream Shop will open its doors and welcome the community we’ve worked so hard to serve. Every wall painted, every piece of equipment installed, every detail carefully chosen has been done with one goal in mind—to create a place where families, friends, and neighbors can come together and make sweet memories.

This isn’t just an ice cream shop. It’s a place to celebrate birthdays, reward good report cards, enjoy date nights, gather after ball games, and create traditions that last for years.

The countdown is officially on!

I am excited to share that construction and buildout progress is moving forward, and we are now just a little over 30 days away from opening our doors! 🎉

Over the past several weeks, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to create a space where families, friends, and neighbors can come together, slow down, make memories, and enjoy some of the finest premium ice cream around. From fresh-made waffle cones and waffle bowls to our incredible lineup of unique flavors, every detail is being carefully planned with our community in mind.

🏗️ Walls are being finished.
🎨 Colors are coming together.
🪑 Furniture and décor are being selected.
🍦 Equipment is being installed.
❤️ And the dream is becoming a reality.

What started as a vision is quickly turning into a place where everyone is welcome—a place filled with smiles, laughter, and happiness is served by the scoop.
