We recently had a mending workshop hosted by Meg Reinhold! Students learnt the basics and introduction to mending while discussing the harms of the disposable cycle of consumerism.

This is what we use to make our Chai! Traditionally, it is called "Masala Chai," Masala meaning spices, that include: Cloves, Cardamom, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Cumin Seeds, & Coriander Seeds. Incorporating ginger with authentic Assam tea completes the Chai part! All of this is steeped together for the concentrate to be ready, and is unsweetened.

We currently offer it in three ways:
Chai Latte: Chai + steamed milk
Dirty Chai Latte: Chai with steamed milk + 2 shots of espresso
Iced Chai: Your choice of milk topped on Cold Chai and Ice.

We are finally extending our hours!

Meg Reinhold, a textile artist and muralist from Granville VT, has put up her beautiful work on our Rabble Brick Wall. Through her art, she seeks to interrupt the disposable cycle of consumerism, seeing beauty and value in the history of wear and repair. You can buy these pieces in store!

Rabble-Rouser Chocolate & Craft Co. is looking for a full time/part time barista to join our team. The ideal candidate has barista experience, an interest in worker ownership, and is self-motivated but also works well on a team. Weekend availability is preferred.

As a worker-owned and fully unionized shop we use self direction, co-management, and democratic decision making processes to resolve the pitfalls of hierarchical management structures and to build an economy wherein all who serve it control it.

Rabble-Rouser had the pleasure of being invited to and attending the Taste of the Kingdom Event held this past Thursday. It was organized by the Green Mountain Farm-to-School initiative for a celebration of local food and drink! We had the honor of sharing our indulgent chocolate confections - from chocolate truffles to maple toffee, maple hearts to our unique chocolate bars and more! We also were able to share our infamous Vermont Granola and Magic Chunks- chocolate covered Granola!
