Thank you. We're so incredibly grateful for the warm welcome you've given us. The Blueberry Festival was a blast, and we loved seeing so many of you enjoy our new rolled ice cream, Michigan Made Hand Scooped Ice Creams and delicious chocolate shakes. Your support means the world to us.

What is Rolled Ice Cream and what makes it different and special?

Rolled ice cream, also known as "stir-fried ice cream," is a unique frozen dessert that originated in Thailand. Unlike traditional scooped ice cream, which is churned and stored, rolled ice cream is made fresh to order right in front of you.

Here's how it works:

1. **The Cold Plate:** The process starts with a specialized, super-cold metal plate or pan, chilled to a temperature far below freezing (often around -13°F to -22°F or -25°C to -30°C).
2. **The Base:** A liquid ice cream base—made of milk, cream, and sugar—is poured onto the cold plate. Our base mix is GLUTEN & LACTOSE FREE.
3. **Mixing and Chopping:** At this point, the ice cream maker adds your chosen mix-ins, such as fresh fruit, cookies, candy, or syrups. Using two metal spatulas, they "stir-fry" the liquid base and mix-ins together, chopping and folding the ingredients until the mixture becomes a creamy, semi-solid consistency.
4. **Flattening and Rolling:** The mixture is then spread out into a thin, even layer across the entire cold plate. As it freezes solid, the ice cream maker uses a spatula to scrape and roll the thin sheet of ice cream into tight, elegant spirals.
5. **Serving:** The finished rolls are placed vertically in a cup and topped with a variety of garnishes, like whipped cream, sauces, or more mix-ins.

The final product has a denser, smoother texture than traditional ice cream because less air is incorporated during the process. The entire preparation is a visually captivating experience, which is one of the reasons it became a social media sensation.

Our Clio location is temporarily closed due to construction 🏗️ on Mill Street. The construction is scheduled to be completed at the end of August, which means probably end of September. Meanwhile, please visit us in Montrose! ✌🏼

Happy Monday, Montrose! What a fantastic Saturday we had at the M57 Market—it was buzzing with new faces and familiar friends, and we loved seeing so many incredible vendors. It truly feels like summer is here!

While we're tying up a few loose ends (and waiting on a plumber today!), we're thrilled to announce our soft opening this Friday, June 20th, from 3 PM to 9 PM! Get ready for a sweet start to your weekend.
