Whatā€™s that sayingā€¦thereā€™s no such thing as bad weather, only bad gear? šŸ˜¬

In so many posts online or travel forums we see people asking about when the ā€œbestā€ time to come is. What the weather will be like during a particular month, orā€¦ those whose trip is nearing, they are asking what to pack or do because there is rain in the forecast.

Hereā€™s our best responseā€¦ the weather is always changing! And in our experience there might be rainier summers than others and you really canā€™t predict what it will be. Not can you plan around it. But you can come prepared! Pack layers, bring rain gear and get yourself out there. Obviously if itā€™s absolutely pouring outside you might want to find a more indoor type activity or cozy up inside for a day. But generally speaking the rain comes and goes and if you want to see Alaska, pack the right gear so you can still experience it in the rain!
