We’re down to our final TWO WEEKS so it’s time to roll out the sappy posts… The first will be a shout-out to my mom! 💛

After about a year of opening the coffee shop, I quickly realized just how hard it was to find dependable morning help. So, I did what any desperate daughter would do — I talked my mom into working mornings for me. 🫶🏻

What started as a temporary fix turned into something so much more. She eventually moved to Morgan so she could help me every single day — showing up before the sun came up, making quiche & pasta, while greeting everyone with her signature smile and sometimes filthy mouth! 😅

Her customer service skills are unmatched and she has a way of making every customer feel seen and loved.

To know her is to love her, and I know how much she’ll be missed at the coffee shop. Thank you to everyone who made her mornings meaningful — she truly loves every one of you and will miss spending her mornings with you. 💔

I want to be clear that our intention is not to bash the (potential) new building owners. They’re asking market rate for rent, which is their right—it’s just more than we can afford as a small, local business.

No matter what happens, we are still here through January, so please continue to stop in and support your favorite baristas. Every visit, every drink, every kind word keeps us going. 💪☕️
