Hursey's BBQ

Hursey's BBQ Mike opened Hursey's 28 years ago to practice and share his love for cooking. Hursey’s is a family-run restaurant with a down-to-earth and friendly atmosphere.

All of the food, excluding a few of the fried products, are hand-prepared. The chopped and sliced pork BBQ is cooked in a traditional Eastern-style manner, using 100% wood coals over direct heat. Besides the BBQ and our many sides, our fried chicken is hand-breaded and cooked to order. We hope to be blessed by your business!

Dear Loyal Customers,
After over 30 years in business, we have decided to close the restaurant. On behalf of the entire Starnes family and Hursey’s staff, we are truly thankful for your patronage and support over the years. And even though we are closing, the tradition of great pit-cooked BBQ will live on at this location with The Honey Hog. 🍽🐷
