The sun is being kind of a jerk this week. We're sure you've noticed. While the George W. Longenecker Shade Garden plants don't know what all the fuss is about, we thought concert goers and performers might get a little wilted in full sun. Tonight's concert re-schedule with Michelle Fincham and Chris Felton is gonna become a re-re-schedule (September 10).

Also, take note that the Hill & Hollow at the Garden cafe will be closed for Independence Day, but the WVBG Visitors Center gift shop will be open and a nice air conditioned reprieve from the heat.

Garden walks just got a lot tastier 🌿😋

Hill & Hollow at the Garden is now serving Appalachian-inspired favorites at the West Virginia Botanic Garden, from Chilled Sesame Noodles to fresh muffins that can be paired with locally roasted coffee.

Big news — Hill & Hollow at the Garden is officially open!

From chilled sesame noodles to decadent dairy-free brownies, everything we’ve tasted so far has been absolutely delicious. We’re thrilled to welcome this exciting new café experience to the West Virginia Botanic Garden.

Located at the Visitors Center
Open Thursday–Sunday | 10 AM–4 PM
Outdoor patio dining overlooking the rain garden and forest

And this Sunday, May 17, enjoy live music from Jim Truman between 1-3 while you eat and relax on the patio. Good food, good music, and one of the best views in the Garden
