Well our vacation is over, we returned home yesterday from our trip back home to New Jersey to visit with family and friends. We had a great time and made lots of new memories while reminiscing on some old ones. I was really having a hard time thinking about going back home before I left knowing the only place that was there my whole life and the place I call home (my grandmas house) is now gone and I wasn’t going to that place. But once I got there and went to my dad’s new house I was ok. Because it’s not the house, it’s the people. I’m grateful to have spent my time with my family, my dad, my brothers, my niece and nephews. They are my home ❤️ and that home has no physical address. I got to see some of my friends that I haven’t seen in over 10 years and it was so great catching up and seeing how our kids grew up! We also went and visited the best bosses I ever had! Peter and Betty from Golden Jade. Now retired and happily spending time with their grandchild they were so surprised and happy to see us. The hardest working people I know running a from scratch Chinese restaurant for over 30 years. They helped shape my outlook on how to operate and the dedication it takes to run a business. The caring people they have always been to their employees shows as I aspire to be like them. *picture below ❤️

We had our Bones Crew back to work yesterday. We spent the day prepping to reopen today. Doing everything we do from scratch, it took near a full day with a crew of 5 to get ready for you today. We open at 11 and can’t wait to see you and serve you! See you soon!

Looks like the weather doesn’t want to be nice today….we will have the music inside and our dining room will also be open tonight! Let’s kickstart this holiday weekend together rain or shine!
