Be kind to the teen behind the counter.
The one handing you your pastry, ringing up your order, or wiping down your table like a champ. They might be 16. Maybe 17. Possibly working their first job ever, on their second week, trying to survive both the rush and being a teen. 😬
They’re learning how to work hard, take responsibility, and do it all with a (slightly nervous but genuine) smile. Let’s show them some grace and good vibes—they’re doing great, even if they mess up your coffee order. (We’ll fix it. Promise.)
