We are experiencing an issue with opentable.com

Though we suspended our account nearly a year ago, they have begun taking new reservations. Additionally, because the account is closed, we are unable to log in and do anything about it.

If you currently have a reservation, please reach out to us at [email protected]. The Phoenix Room has not operated as a restaurant since January, and all operations have merged with our downstairs restaurant, Laurienzo Wood Fired Cafe.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

We have made the decision to merge the concepts of Laurienzo Wood Fired Cafe and The Phoenix Room into one elevated dining experience. The two rooms will share a menu and The Phoenix Room will operate as a dining room within Laurienzo Wood Fired Cafe, as well as a private event space.

This means that you can now find higher end dishes in our downstairs dining room (including the Japanese A5 Wagyu), and pizza will now be available upstairs.

It will take some time to fully implement all the bells and whistles we loved utilizing in The Phoenix Room, but you will continue to see Laurienzo’s standards and quality grow.

We are so close to reopening. We are looking for a small number experienced servers for extremely part time work. No more than 2-4 weekend nights a month, with expansion possible as we move towards full time operation.

The job is perfect for someone who has a strong background in serving/bartending, but has left for a new career.

We are regretfully announcing that we will be unable to meet our goal of a May 7th Grand Opening, due to a lack of staff.

As many of you know we share a staff with our sister restaurant, Laurienzo Brick Oven Cafe. While we have made every effort to ramp up our staffing numbers over the last 6 weeks, we have actually seen them decrease in that time.

As a restaurant we are ready to roll with an exciting new menu and a polished up dining room, but we are unfortunately stuck in a holding pattern until we find enough employees to staff both restaurants simultaneously.

That said, we are hiring. If you have serving/bartending experience and would like to make some great extra money on the weekends, please consider speaking with us. We are a safe and clean family run business, looking for bright responsible employees to help elevate our concept.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue through this tough time in our industry, we hope to be full speed ahead as soon as possible, and ready to welcome the community through our doors.

We will be participating in Mount Airy, MD Restaurant Week from Wednesday to Sunday this week! While we will still not be operating until the first week in May, this menu will be available downstairs at Laurienzo Brick Oven Cafe - Mount Airy.

Hello everyone!

We would like to announce that we will be pausing operation for the next several weeks. Our long run of "rolling cold openings" has concluded, and we are now staffing up and preparing for our official Grand Opening later in the spring!

Expect new menu items, and an expanded schedule. Our goal is to open every Friday-Sunday. We are also hiring experienced cooks, servers and bartenders. If you are interested in more information please reach out to us.

It’s certainly starting to get nice outside, but you know what? It’s even nicer inside, with a Jackass. This Jackass to be precise. Tito’s Vokda, ginger beer, ginger liquor and fresh squeezed lime. No nicer way to relax.

Last seating is at 9pm! Reservations are highly recommended but walk-ins are available! Cheers!
