Meet Jason, our new Pastry Chef at 1921. 👨🏻‍🍳

You’ll find him behind some of the desserts making their way onto our menu, so we asked him a few quick questions to get to know the person behind the pastry a little better:

• Favorite cuisine?
Honestly, I can’t pick one. I love all food, a lot.
• Go-to late-night snack?
Smartfood white cheddar popcorn and Häagen-Dazs ice cream bars.
• Most underrated ingredient?
Not underrated by any means, but my favorite ingredient is chocolate.
• First job?
Prep cook, busboy and dishwasher.
• Coffee order?
Oat milk latte, sometimes a mocha.
• Favorite movie or TV show?
Six Feet Under and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
• Dream dinner guest?
David Bowie.
• What’s at the top of your bucket list?
More of a goal than a bucket-list item, but completing a triathlon.
