We are a family-run business that focuses on great food and service while providing you with the best local harassment around! Our daily specials, our large selection of Michigan craft beers, our homemade wing sauces and Bloody Mary mix, give you a way to enjoy a tasty experience every visit. From beer to food to products to merchandise, we make sure we support as many Michigan-based companies as

possible. This includes our Smith & Sons burger, our Cops & Doughnuts hamburger buns that we pick up fresh throughout the week and our Michigan cheeses and produce. Although our hours have been adjusted due to COVID, we remain open seven days a week. My staff is the best around and have maintained through this whole ordeal. I cannot thank them enough! Bear has been spotted just south of our driveway and is slowly making its way west.

Please keep an eye out, keep all pets inside, and make sure your trash is secured.

And although I, myself, would be tempted...

DO NOT attempt to pet the bear. 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

Let's all make smart choices today so the bear can continue on its way without any problems.

I swear it was just Monday about 17 minutes ago.

Regardless of what kind of time-warp nonsense is happening, it's Fish Fry Friday!

Doors open at 11:30 am; Fish Fry starts at 2:30 pm; we’re here until 10 p.m.

If you've spent all week answering emails, chasing kids, chasing coworkers, chasing your own sanity, or standing in your kitchen wondering what to make for dinner for the umpteenth time...

Don't.

We've already made a plan for you.

Come eat fish. Ignore your responsibilities for an hour. Pretend adulthood isn't a scam.

One of the greatest things about Special Olympics isn’t the medals.

It’s the camaraderie.

It’s the sportsmanship.

It’s watching athletes cheer just as loudly for the person next to them as they do for themselves.

It’s seeing pure joy, determination, friendship and respect all wrapped into one event.

These athletes show all of us what it looks like to support one another, compete with dignity and celebrate every accomplishment.

And speaking of accomplishments…Sara brought home FIRST PLACE!

Congratulations, Sara! Your Barn Door family is proud of you!🏅

Now, if the rest of us could learn to celebrate each other’s successes the way these athletes do, the world would be a much better place.

If you make it to town, I encourage you to stop and watch some of these athletes.

As for us, we open at 11:30 am and go until 10 pm.
