You may have noticed this beautiful chair in our entrance way. We are proud partners with Listening Ear Crisis Center for their Spare a Chair Campaign.

✨The Spare a Chair campaign has officially launched in our community! ✨

This summer, local businesses across Mid-Michigan are helping us share powerful stories from youth impacted by foster care through hand-painted chairs created with care and purpose. Each chair represents the space a family can open for a child, and they display the story of the child who painted the chair.

We invite you to stop by these amazing community partners, read the stories, and reflect on the impact one supportive adult can make in a young person’s life.

A huge THANK YOU to each of the businesses hosting a chair and helping spark important conversations in our community. Your support means so much to the youth and families we serve.

🪑 Stories and chairs will rotate throughout the summer, so be sure to visit them before they move to their next location!

If you’ve been curious about foster care, this is a great opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and see how even one open seat can change a life.

It is with deep sadness that I learned of the passing of Bill Walz — a true chef and a major inspiration in my restaurant journey.
Bill was an exceptional, versatile from-scratch chef, the likes of which this town may never see again. His passion, skill, and deep respect for honest ingredients left a lasting mark on me and everyone fortunate enough to experience his culinary talents.
His high standards continue to shape our kitchens every day. I am forever grateful. Cindy & Frankie are in my prayers!

We’re CLOSED today as we rest and recharge after dedicating our time and effort this weekend for graduation and yesterday for Mother’s Day celebration. Please visit the Green Spot Pub tonight.

Today, we’re giving our staff the opportunity to rest, recharge, and time to spend with their own families and celebrating the amazing mothers in their lives. ❤️
