Murder, mystery, and a whole lot of drama…

We hosted our very first Murder Mystery Dinners over the past few days—and they turned into something truly special.

To everyone who attended: thank you. You didn’t just show up—you showed OUT. The costumes, the commitment, the performances 👏… the level of detail and how seriously you embraced your roles made these nights unforgettable.

These are the moments we love most—bringing people together to dine, toast, laugh, shout accusations, share stories, and blur the lines between strangers and friends. Community, chaos, and connection… all in one room.

Huge thanks to our partner in crime, CATSKILL CREW (aka CFO Drew Beasley), for helping bring this experience to life and setting the tone for a perfectly mischievous evening.

Thanks to Kristin Nason for designing our beautiful menus and to our victim, Alex Smith—aka Tracy Howe—for perishing both evenings with unmatched class.

And a special shoutout to the Foxfire team for bringing it all together—especially Claire & Nisrine, our in-house game masters.

Public tickets are now on sale for In The Wild 🌿

Our signature forest dining series returns for its fourth year. What began as a dreamy dinner beneath the trees has become one of our most sought-after experiences — with every event selling out.

Four times each season, guests gather in the Foxfire woods for a candlelit, family-style feast surrounded by music, candlelight, and the beauty of the Catskills.

Each evening begins with a relaxed tasting hour featuring some of our favorite producers. Past partners have included Swick Wines, Marigny Wines, Wild Arc Farm, Chaseholm Farm, Grape Witches, Jenny & François, and other remarkable farmers, winemakers, sommeliers, and educators from our extended community.

As twilight settles in, guests are guided through the meadow and along a wooded path to long candlelit tables set deep in the forest. There, a generous multi-course dinner is served family-style with beer and wine included throughout the evening.

A limited number of seats are available to the public, while additional seats are reserved for guests staying overnight with us — the perfect excuse to turn dinner into a full Foxfire escape.

$175 per person
Includes tasting hour, three-course dinner, and beer & wine from 5–8pm.

A crime will be committed at dinner — and everyone is a suspect.

Join and for Murder in Mount Tremper, an immersive murder mystery dinner where Southern Gothic drama meets Catskills folklore.

🕯 Candlelight. Secrets. Family-style feasting.
And a crime that unfolds around the table.

Guests receive characters in advance and spend the evening dining, drinking, mingling, and investigating as the mystery reveals itself — one clue at a time.

The Evening

5:00–6:30 PM — Cocktail Hour
Beer, wine, and stationed bites in the Bar Room. Meet your fellow guests and step into character.

6:30–8:30 PM — Dinner & Investigation
A family-style dinner inspired by classic Southern cuisine. Courses arrive alongside secret notes, clues, and revelations as the mystery unfolds.

By dessert, the final cards are played — and the murderer is revealed.
