The Tale of the Table

Bobby Carl’s Table is the culmination of a few years of dreaming about a restaurant concept that honors the food folkways of our native state, Alabama. Trey McLemore and Tim Lowe grew up in East Shelby County, Alabama, eating the food grown in the gardens on the farms where they spent their youth. Dreaming up ideas for a culinary gathering place, we both shared the opinion that there is nothing more powerful about food than the memories you have of it, the times when family put food on tables as an expression of love and hard work. It’s no surprise that this is the best food we remember eating, and is still the food we’d eat every day if we had the pace of life our ancestors had. Well we’re bringing that to the Table in English Village. Whatever your pace of life is, there will always be a comfortable place at our Table for you. Our vision is to make more of those memories at the Table, for our old friends, our family, and the new friends we make in this space. Bobby Carl’s is a family affair. Come be a part of it.
