Most of us can’t just pack up and head to NYC to get one of the viral Dot Cakes. So we decided that the next best thing would be to have them here in Mountain City for you instead. One of the best uses of free will is to eat cake when you want it - no need to wait for an occasion. The occasion is today!

Strawberries go with summertime like peanut butter goes with jelly. Today would be a great day to try our Strawberry Spinach Salad. It has mixed greens, spinach, our signature seasoned grilled chicken, crumbled feta cheese, sliced almonds, and, of course, strawberries. We serve it with our homemade Hot Bacon Dressing which, as our dear friend Jeannie Arnold used to say “it’s the best thing I ever put in my mouth.” Jeannie and Tia used to say that about a lot of things. 🤣 For real though, it’s so good you could drink it with a straw and be a happy camper. If you’re not a bacon person, try the Creamy Poppyseed dressing with this salad - we promise you’ll love it!

The summer menu is here! Boba is back, it can be added to any cold drink. Lemonades are back - all natural, made all in house - no mix, no preservatives, no artificial colors or flavors. And, even though it’s not on the board - don’t forget the Dirty Lemonade! The most refreshing summer drink ever! Or that’s what Tia and Aden think anyway. And check out our new flavor for this summer - Banana! We worked on creating a recipe for banana syrup for a while and it’s ready to offer to the public now. Try the Funky Monkey (banana and mocha) - you won’t regret it! Add coconut to make it even more summery!

The Depot Street Salad is here to serve as your daily reminder that you don’t have to look great to be amazing - don’t ever forget that y’all! It is one of the most refreshing salads we have ever tried - and we have tried a lot. 😂 We make the vinaigrette in house, from scratch, not a mix. It’s light and crisp and goes perfectly with iceberg. This salad is one of those anomalies that is light but somehow also very filling at the same time. And with ham, turkey, Swiss, and Parmesan, it’s a great source of protein!

It’s strawberry time in Tennessee! Thanks to Silverstone Hams for doing the legwork and making sure that our community has access to the best strawberries in the state. We are now serving them to you in our salads, strawberry lemonade, and baked goods. As long as we are able to get them, when you have something strawberry from our shop, you’ll be having Scott’s strawberries.

We just want to say a big thank you to everyone who came to try out the new menu today. Thank you for coming and thank you for your patience while we are figuring out (another) new flow in the kitchen. We sincerely hope that everyone loved their experience as much as we loved having you there. We’re building this plane as we fly it and we’re so glad to have you along on the ride with us. It’s truly a grand adventure. 😁
