The count down is nearly over. Saturday is the 4th of July which marks 250 years since America officially declared independence.
Compared to the longevity of the Roman Empire or the Japanese Empire, America is just a fledgling. Even though we are young as a nation, we are considered a “super-power” and one of the greatest countries in the world. We are truly blessed beyond measure in spite of pride and the corruption that sits on this nation’s doorsteps. Make no mistake in believing we are surviving because of our abilities or money or military power, this America continues to exist because God is merciful and slow to anger. As we celebrate our 250th year, we give thanks to the Creator for His continued favor and we ask that He forgive our transgressions as we forgive those who transgress against us. Happy 4th❤️🇺🇸🎉

Only a month ago we were celebrating Moms with dinner, flowers, candy, and more. Mother’s Day is a big deal, while Father’s Day ranks about twenty in important dates to remember.
