Ready to take this culinary journey with us all summer long! We will be introducing each week a new recipe from areas such as Sicily, Spain, Basque lands, Provence, France, and Greece. All are inspired by the summer season ☀️.

I think the most intriguing recipes are coming from Sicily, but I am most excited for the Spanish additions to our menu this summer!
Here is our menu for this week to be presented with our friends Murfreesboro Saturday Market.

Sadly we have come to the end of Soup Season. We will be introducing dips, salads, and appetizer options to take its place.

Appetizers/ Salads:

Cornbread salad
Watermelon salad

Sandwich: cheesesteaks wiz wit

Pasta entrees:

Pastitsio aka Greek lasagna
Rigatoni Al Forno
Spaghetti Alla bolognese

Hope y’all enjoyed your rainy Memorial Day 🇺🇸 weekend! Thank you to the men and women of our armed services, for doing what you do, so I can do what I love to do for our community/country.

This will be our menu with our friends Murfreesboro Saturday Market this Saturday from 8am-12pm. 🤞 we will luck out like we did last weekend.

Soup: French Onion ( it will come with French baguette and provolone cheese.

Sides/ Casserole:

Cornbread Salad

Tatertot Casserole- pickled jalapeño, cheddar, bacon, cream of chicken, ranch-sour cream.

Sandwich:

Cheesesteaks wiz wit

Pasta entrees:

Cajun chicken fettuccine Alfredo

Jumbo stuffed shells

Pesto chicken and prosciutto manicotti

Specials:

Jambalaya

Mafia stuffed flank steak- Boursin cheese, Sundried tomato, spinach, basil and other Italian herbs.

The weirdest part about leaving the kitchen wasn’t the hours.

It wasn’t the stress.
It wasn’t the burns.
It wasn’t even the money.

It was losing the chaos.

Most chefs don’t realize how addicted we become to pressure.

Tickets flying.
People yelling.
Hot pans everywhere.
Rushes so busy you forget to drink water for 8 hours.

Then one day you leave hospitality…

And normal life feels TOO quiet.

I started a food truck after 12 years in kitchens.

First few months I thought:
“This is amazing. I escaped.”

Then after a while I realized something strange…

I missed service.

Not the suffering.
Not the toxic stuff.
But the feeling of being in the trenches with people who understood you.

Because kitchen people are different.

Dark humour.
Thick skin.
Fast thinking.
No ego during service.
Absolute psychopaths under pressure.

You can’t really explain it to outsiders.

Now I work for myself.
I make more money.
I have more freedom.
I actually see my family.

And for the first time ever…
my effort directly affects MY life.

But every now and then when I hear a ticket printer in another restaurant…

something in my brain wakes up again.

And I know some of you understand exactly what I mean.

We are bringing back our famous version of a southern favorite.

Have you tried our gourmet pimento cheese spread yet?

The secret is in the freshly cracked peppercorn blend that we use to season ours with, and with the addition of the king of cheeses, Parmesan.

Hi Foodies, we hope today finds you enjoying the fruits of Tennessee spring time. Here is Our delicious menu to be served with our friends at the Murfreesboro Saturday Market this Saturday from 8am-12pm.

Soup:

French Onion Soup- it will come as a soup kit, so we will have the Onion soup, some french baguette slices, and provolone cheese.

Side Dishes:

Pimento Cheese
Cornbread Salad

Sandwich: Cheesesteak Wiz Wit

Pasta Entrees:

Chicken Marsala with Spaghetti

Rigatoni Al Forno- it’s a baked pasta dish with red sauce, provolone, mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, and Italian ground sausages.

Tortellini Della Nona- 3 cheese tortellini served with Alfredo sauce peas, and prosciutto.

April and May is the time that Tennessee really gets to show off. We will be with our friends Murfreesboro Saturday Market this Saturday morning from 8am-12pm. We are hoping for a repeat for last week with gorgeous weather and a fully packed market. It was great to see all of our friends at the market this weekend! Thank you so much for your continued support.

For our Franklin Customers we will be making deliveries again this weekend. Private message us if interested and we will work out the details with you.

If you are a customer at the Franklin market and decide to stay home but would still like some of our prepared meals, contact us, place your order and we will set up a time and deliver to you.
