HOOK & CLEAVER RANCH AMERICAN AKAUSHI WAGYU FLAT IRON STEAK

When you’ve got quality beef, keep it simple and let the flavor shine.

This American Akaushi Wagyu flat iron gets a beautiful cast-iron sear, seasoned with Hook & Cleaver Ranch Ranch Blend Seasoning — for that perfect savory crust. Finished with butter and fresh rosemary for a steak worth slowing down for.

🥩 INGREDIENTS

1 American Akaushi Wagyu flat iron steak from Hook & Cleaver Ranch
Hook & Cleaver Ranch Ranch Blend Seasoning (to taste)
1 tbsp macadamia or avocado oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
Fresh rosemary (optional)
🔥 THE METHOD

1️⃣ Season it up: Pat the steak dry and season both sides with Hook & Cleaver Ranch Ranch Blend Seasoning. Let it sit for 20–30 minutes.

2️⃣ Get that skillet HOT: Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high to high heat. Add macadamia or avocado oil and let it simmer.

3️⃣ Sear to perfection: Cook approximately 2-3 minutes on the first side and 2 minutes on the second, adjusting for thickness.

4️⃣ Butter baste: Reduce the heat, add butter and fresh rosemary. Spoon that rich, fragrant butter over the steak for 30–60 seconds.

5️⃣ Rest & slice: Rest the steak before slicing thinly against the grain.

THE SECRET? Great beef. Good seasoning. High heat. Don’t overcomplicate it.

Serve with crispy potatoes, grilled asparagus, and let that Akaushi marbling do the talking. 🔥
