Investing in the heartbeat of the Grand Strand’s hospitality industry. 🤝🏨

Members of MBAHA gathered last week for a special $1,000 check presentation benefiting À la Heart Grand Strand - our newly established emergency assistance fund for Grand Strand hospitality workers.

A huge thank you to Burroughs & Chapin and Broadway At The Beach for facilitating this fundraiser through their Wish Fountain project! These funds will go directly toward helping our local restaurant, lodging, and venue team members when unexpected personal or medical crises strike.

Captain’s Quarters Resort is officially kicking off summer with a bold new look! The iconic oceanfront destination has unveiled a stunning exterior refresh and a completely reimagined lobby experience, offering a brighter, modern coastal welcome for families.

But the transformation doesn’t stop there. This is all leading up to the grand opening of The District - a massive 17,000-square-foot indoor entertainment venue featuring dining, bowling, arcade gaming, and social spaces opening mid-Summer 2026! 🎳🍔

Last night, members gathered at the International Culinary Institute in Myrtle Beach for the MBAHA Annual Meeting & Reception. We were thrilled to recognize the winners of the 2026 Trio Dinner and officially vote in our incoming leadership team.

A massive thank you to our immediate past chair, Steve Carr, for his incredible guidance and leadership in moving us forward and setting the table for continued success. 👏
