I'm sad to say that the café will not reopen. I want to thank everyone who came in from day one, Kristie and I are grateful for all of the support and love from everyone. Thank you Naples and the surrounding communities, until we meet again.....much love❤

I have made a heartbreaking decision to close the café doors on September 28th. I am forever grateful for the friends that became family, the overwhelming support, and the daily hugs. I have loved this journey and working with family. I don't know what my next step will be in this crazy world, but I am sure thankful for you all. Thank you to all who supported the cafe, to family that pitched in, and a huge thank you to family and friends who stepped up the past 4 weeks, I couldn't have done it alone. My Uncle, you were so much fun to work with, you didn't hesitate for one minute to step right in and "sling the hash". I will cherish the memories for years to come. My Aunt, what a trooper you have been, you didn't bat an eye,, you just did it!!! I look forward to more adventures with you. My granddaughters have been there through it all and I love them dearly, i will miss this. There are so many to thank!!!! My dad, mom sister and brother... thank you and I love you. To my daughter Kristie, it was a beautiful ride kiddo, I wish you love and healing thoughts as you deal with your foot, I love you so very much.

I need to give a huge thank you to my Uncle and Aunt for their help over the past few weeks. My Uncle has helped me out during the week and both of them on the weekends. I honestly cannot thank them enough for what they have done. The girls have been amazing as well, pitching in if needed and also thank you to my dad for pitching in too. Without family I'm not sure how I would be able to continue with the café. I'm not sure what the future holds for Knight's, there is a lot to "ponder", but as long as the doors are open, there is food in the kitchen and the lights are on you are welcome to come on in, have a seat and chat a bit. We will be closing from 9/28-10/5 for a much needed rest......we will reopen on 10/6. Thank you for all your patronage❤

This is Kristie. I know a lot of people are wondering when I am returning to the cafe. After a very frank conversation with my doctor I have made the decision to not return. Doing so would put me at a 100% risk of future surgeries and eventually not being able to use my foot without severe pain if at all. This is disappointing news and not what I wanted but to be able to maintain a happy healthy life and continue to enjoy the things I love, it is the decision I have to make. Knight's Cafe has been a wonderful journey and something I will always be proud of. I have enjoyed getting to know the people in the community I have lived in for so long. Building this place with family, friends, making new family and friends has been so wonderful. It's something most people don't get to experience.
I'm not entirely sure what the future holds for me. I still have appointments and there is a possibility of surgery in the coming weeks. I will be okay though.
Thank you all for the support over the past year and half. Opening a restaurant is a scary thing. Doing it in the middle of a pandemic is downright terrifying but we did it.
Please be patient as Mom works through this transition and also know she is not alone. We are lucky enough to have a large family who has stepped up and are helping out in every way possible.
Again, thank you all. I will miss seeing you all everyday. I will be in and out and I'm sure will see you around town. ❤
