The story begins with 2 Southern-raised buddies, Adam & Clay, both proud LSU Alums, who had a hankering for authentic Cajun cuisine in the Big Apple. In 2014, with a truckload of moxie and a dash of southern charm, they decided to start serving up Cajun favorites at a pop-up market in Madison Square Park. ! Their first Gumbo Bros restaurant, opened in Brooklyn, NYC in December of 2016 t

o rave reviews from New Yorkers and Cajuns alike. In an effort to bring the love to as many cajun-craving folks as possible, Adam decamped to Nashville in the Fall of 2020 and opened Gumbo #2 in The Gulch in March 2021.

You may or may not have noticed, but our owner and figurehead sir brethren Adam Lathan took a lads trip to the UK a few months ago. He came back refreshed, inspired, and ready for a big change. But adding Guinness on tap was simply not enough. So moving forward, we are now THE GUMBO BROS PUB. A fusion of cajun Louisiana and classics from across the pond. Full English breakfast with red cajun beans? Slay. Fish and chips with spicy ranch? BLOODY BRILLIANT. Gameday specials will now be focused around REAL football, the one you play with your foot.⚽😤 Dollar prawns will be the new Monday special!! It’s a lovely day for a Guinness INNNIT???
