One last rant as I sneak out the back door ! The crew gave me a very nice and unexpected send off yesterday at the grille ! I can’t thank them enough for their thoughtfulness , kindness and dedication during these last couple weeks of transitioning to new ownership . Change always comes with some feelings of hesitation and the unknown , but they’ve been solid and engaged throughout and I can’t thank them enough for that ! To the general Station 5 nation and customer base , thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support over the last 20 years and all the kind words and sentiment the last few weeks have truly been overwhelming ! I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention my family , both immediate and extended for their tremendous support over the years , thank you ! Lots of memories to look back on and could ever cover them all , but people we’ve met , generations of customers that grow up before our eyes and then return later from college /married , or young families of their own is amazing to see . I’ll always remember the years of staff that have come and gone and still remain, it’s crazy to think how many have come through the door and quickly become a fabric of the station 5 family .
And finally my adult children , who now are starting families and well into successful careers of their own , I can never thank you enough for the unwavering support and above all patience through many years of the 2 career paths I chose that were two of the most demanding schedules on family life . The many holidays , nights , weekends , ball games, prom pics etc., that were often missed , you always understood and supported me throughout the years , and for that I’m eternally grateful !! So now it’s time for grand kids and weekends , babysitting and gatherings , and whatever else the next phase brings . Thank you to all ………… Suzie …….. it’s Sunday , what do you want to do today ……?!!!
